Dean cranked the music louder, doing everything in his power not to fall asleep at the wheel. He was hunting alone, so there was no Sammy to keep him entertained. Dean belted out the lyrics of "Disposable Heroes," one of his favorite songs and what was currently blasting.
He was sort of glad that this hunt popped up when it did. Dean's favorite author - one of the few he ever read - Richard Castle was doing a book signing for his latest novel and Dean wanted to talk to the guy. If he'd told Sammy that it was the reason he'd taken the job so fast he's sure he would have gotten laughed at.
He pulled off into the parking lot of a small motel just off the highway as the song ends. A yawn overtook him as he pulled Baby into a parking space, jaw popping. He grabbed his duffle from the trunk and headed in to book a room.
