Blaine had somehow made it through the morning without falling apart at the seams, but people were noticing. He hadn't bothered to gel that morning. Had skipped breakfast. Barely slept the night before.
And now he was hiding in the bathroom, away from his friends, rather than go to lunch. It was stupid, but he couldn't go. Couldn't give them the opportunity to ask what was wrong. He couldn't face telling them he'd fucked up with Kurt again.
He didn't care that his stomach was killing him, that he was starving. It had been nearly twenty-four hours since he'd eaten, unable to handle dinner with his parents, unable to keep his crying under control.
The pain was something he deserved, what he had earned by being stupid and bad and upsetting Kurt. He relished the punishment, even as the tears came again as he sat in a stall, miserably waiting for the bell to ring so he could go to class and ignore the glances and whispers of concern, pretend to be focused on his work.
He would be skipping Glee and Cheerios practice, anything to get out of the school before he could be questioned. He couldn't talk to any of his friends until he knew for sure just how badly he'd messed up.
But considering Kurt never called back the night before, he figured it must have been pretty bad.
