NOTE: THIS THREAD WILL CONTAIN TALK OF CONSENT ISSUES
Kurt pulled into the Anderson's driveway and parked, turning the car off and leaning back, sighing. He was nervous about Blaine's reaction to him being here, but he knew he needed to be. Kurt climbed out of the car and rang the bell, listening to the echoing chime within the house.

Blaine heard the engine of a car pulling up in the driveway, but he ignored it, figuring his mother was back from shopping. She'd seemed concerned when he begged off school that morning and had checked on him several times throughout the day. He'd finally eaten some of the soup she brought him, one of his grandmother's recipes from the Philippines. But he'd thrown it back up some time later, after drifting off and having a nightmare. Now she had gone to get some things that he might be able to handle keeping down, but his problem wasn't what he ate.
He pulled the blanket tight around his shoulders and sighed, tapping his phone to light up the display, checking if he'd missed a text or call in the last ten minutes. He hadn't. He'd called Kurt early that morning, hoping to catch him before he left for class, but it had gone straight to voice mail, meaning it was turned off. He hadn't heard from Kurt since Saturday, even though he said they'd talk soon.
Maybe Kurt had changed his mind, or hadn't wanted to hurt Blaine's feelings. Maybe he didn't want to deal with Blaine and all the problems involved.
But then the doorbell rang, and Blaine frowned, confused. His mother would have just walked in. He hauled himself out of the bed reluctantly, grabbing a small throw blanket and wrapping it around his shoulders before heading downstairs to answer the door.
Kurt was the last person he expected to see on the other side.
Blaine's eyes went wide and his jaw dropped in surprise. "Kurt?"

Kurt smiled at him, though it dimmed a bit when he noticed Blaine's rumpled hair and pajamas, "Hey, you," he said, stepping forward and into the house when Blaine tugged the door open wider, "I.. I hope this is okay, me just dropping by."

"I... Yeah, of course. You can always drop by." Blaine wanted to hug him, to bury his face against his chest and just breathe him in, but he wasn't sure if Kurt would be okay with that, so he tightened his grip on the blanket and closed the door behind them. "Wh... What are you doing here? Don't you have classes?"

Kurt looked at him, eyes raking over his face and body, God he'd missed him. "I, um, took the week off. For a family emergency. I needed to see you," he said, stepping forward and tentatively holding his arms out in a gesture for Blaine.

Blaine was surprised to hear that Kurt had taken a week to come home and see him. When Kurt opened his arms, Blaine couldn't help diving into them, dropping the blanket and hugging him tightly. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Kurt smelled like sweat, and boy, and hairspray, and home. His coat was chilly against Blaine's face, but it didn't matter. Blaine felt warm, wrapped up in his embrace again.

Kurt nuzzled Blaine's hair, "I assume this is okay, then" he laughed softly into his curls, sighing contentedly. It felt like forever since he'd been able to hold Blaine like this, to see him, to feel him. He'd spend the entire week just like this, if he could.

Blaine nodded, clenching his fists into his coat. "Thank you," he murmured. After another deep breath, he leaned back a little and looked up the few inches to Kurt's eyes. "You cold?" he asked. "I've got warm blankets upstairs."

Kurt nodded, "Yeah, that'd be great," he admitted, "I think it's colder here than in New York." Curling up with Blaine sounded wonderful. It meant that they could be close and talk and figure everything out.

Blaine smiled and let go, reaching to unzip his coat and pull it off of him. He hung it on a peg and then pressed his lips together, glancing back at Kurt uncertainly. He wanted to take his hand, wanted to bury himself against him forever. He tentatively bumped the back of their hands together and started to lead Kurt up to his room.

Kurt grabbed his hand in response, squeezing it gently as they walked up the stairs, "So, I'm assuming you stayed home today," he said, giving Blaine a tiny smile.

"Uh, yeah," Blaine said, looking away sheepishly. "Wasn't up to going. Mom thinks I'm sick; she should be back from the store before too long with saltines and chicken broth."

Kurt caught his lip between his teeth, "Will she be angry if I'm here?" Kurt hoped not, didn't really want to leave right away, especially not now. They walked in Blaine's room and he stood awkwardly, unsure of their next step.

"No, I don't think so," Blaine said, tugging him towards the bed. "Come get warm," he said, pulling the blankets back and settling onto the bed.

Kurt smiled at him, tucking himself into the space next to Blaine and curling close, pulling the blankets around them. "Missed you," Kurt murmured, resting his head on Blaine's, kissing the top of it gently.
